I told them to allow some margin from mine as it is not a super standardized instrument, and to treat it like a viola case, with movable padding to better adapt to different models. Your case is narrower than mine, but the whole instrument is longer, so I would just write them and worry about the neck length. As they are in the design phase, they will welcome the info, knowing how much margin to allow!
