This is good news. Thank you for doing this. I don’t have a lot of time to read, but I have a long commute, so podcasts are my friend. I hope this can be an ongoing thing, even if it is once a month. I know these things take a lot of time to prepare, and I’d rather not have you all burn yourselves out by putting it out too often— so however it works, I hope this can continue for a long time.

Thank you Nathan! This is encouraging, we will try!! By the way, if you download the Substack app, you can have pretty much all the newsletters read by an automatic voice (which is probably even more easy to understand than my English!!). Thanks for your comment and happy new year!

Grazzie! It's fun and for me a (more) comfortable way of receiving all your info. I myself not belong into the deep realm of luthiers, but it something I enjoy deeply to know about since I love music. Most of it is important that you share other aspects that complement the goodness in the online intelectual livelihood that internet offers, like food, culture and humor. I learned the basics on violin/viola set up a few years ago, could not continue due to other studies, but I've got an old german violin waiting to be brought back to life. Blessings to both of you! Greetings from Chile.

PS: Maybe I'm wrong, but it seemed to me that you were reading a lot, it shows that there's joy in it, but makes it a bit plain for the ears.

PSS: will it be on spotify?

You are right, I tried twice to just speak with only an outline in front, but it was all a hhhm…. aaaand…. eeehhhh… so at the end I succumbed to a plain script! It’s something I have to learn, to speak better… thanks for your suggestions! By now I applied to Apple but not to Spotify. Thanks for sharing your background, and for reading us. Recording this took me a lot of time, so I’m not sure how often I will do this again, but you can listen to any newsletter from the Substack app, there is a AI voice that can read it to you if you don’t have time to read.

Thank you again and we wish you a gorgeous 2024!
