Tell the world that you enjoy playing da Spalla!
Cool gadgets from the “da Spalla Pride Shop” on Redbubble
You are walking down the street with your Violoncello da Spalla case, chin high, proud smile on your face. Because you know you are doing something cool, not just being different, but diving deep into culture and history to deliver your art.
Some people are curious and will notice you; pointing at your case will ask you: what’s that?
Some others are curious as well, but they don’t want to be mistaken as cheeky, or they are afraid to feel ignorant: they will still look at you, but they miss a trigger for a question. Isn’t this sad?
Wouldn’t it be friendly if we nicely provided this trigger so that we gain an opportunity to explain more about our instrument?
And, why not, I also have the big dream of a meeting, a live meeting, a Violoncello da Spalla Convention, where everyone shows up with stickers, pins, t-shirts, proud to be part of this polyhedric community. So, I created an online shop on Redbubble. It is a print on demand service, and it is very convenient. They provide a range of quality gadget, and they have facilities in many parts of the world, so they ship from the one closest to you to offer you a fair shipping cost.
You can have stickers for your case as a first step. You can choose between the transparent or white background and of various dimensions. Look carefully at the mock-ups in the product description to understand the correct size because multiple stickers on the same sheet are listed with the measurement of the sheet, not of the single sticker.

Premium t-shirts are really high quality, while the standard is a bit like those you receive for free when buying new tires. Full print tote bags are reeeallly high standard! Same for the zip pockets to keep your accessories. Phone cases are pretty cool, but for a nerdish look, you can also opt for a backpack!
This is the moment, get your favourite gadgets and tell the world how special you are!

Updates from our workshop
We are grateful and excited for the enthusiasm we encountered at our concert/lecture at the Conservatory in Bolzano. It’s always cool to experience the moment in which an artist falls in love with a new tool!
Alessandro’s new cello got his tan and his first coat of after-sun lotion 😉
And now, while he takes his time to dry, we are heading to the seaside for a short holiday!
