In the northern hemisphere is getting hot now. Fortunately we are in the mountains in the very north of Italy, so we normally do not suffer hot weather if we don't go and search for it. In this time of the year I enjoy lying on the sofa on the terrace, on cool evenings. I love the breeze and listening to the great variety of birds singing just after the sunset. And a good read gives me the perfect excuse to indulge there more.
I share here some of the most informative articles on Violoncello da Spalla (or on its context).
Some of them are quite old, others are new, and as you will notice there is no harmony yet between interpretations of the facts... But there is a good record of facts, which is a fantastic thing!
Hope you enjoy them as I do, and please come back to share your major take away!
